The countdown begins...

"Time passes so slowly if you are unware of it and so quickly if you are aware of it."
-Marc Bolan

Its crazy to think that I have reached the 6 months left mark of my time in Korea.  I will be leaving in October and once again I have packed these last couple of months full, but before we get to the future here are a few events of the past two months.

The creepy Easter bunny made another appearance.

As did the stunning cherry blossoms!

Unfortunately the blossoms only lasted about two rainy weeks this year.

With spring comes baseball in Korea! Baseball games here are so much fun! This time we went a bit early in the season so we were very cold by the end of the game.

We were also able to go on our first outdoor field trip! We went to an art gallery where the kids painted plates to give to their parents for Parent's Day.

About two months ago I managed to sprain my right wrist.  I woke up one morning with my wrist in pain but of course ignored it for 3 weeks and continued boxing.  After it didn't feel better, I finally went to a doctor.  After X-Rays, a doctors visit, physical therapy, and a cast; my visit came to a whopping $27.  The physical therapy included dipping my hand in very hot wax 10 times, ultrasound, pulsating suction cups, and lasers.  It was all very interesting but I think its finally starting to heal.
Every month we have a student of the month.  That student gets to pick what character they would like on their poster and then the other student's write notes to them.  Apparently if you are 5, lack of teeth is very important to friendship.

Last week, my friend Seonaid, who I met in Copenhagen, came to visit me! Its so cool to meet each other on another continent! We were able to get away for a weekend and went to Muiido, an island off of Incheon.  The coolest part of this island is that when the tide is out you can walk out about a mile to reach the water.

So Lindsey did a super cool handstand.  I knew I couldn't hold one on my own but I thought with Lindsey's help I could.  We obviously did not communicate very well and ended up with this.

Linds was crying she was laughing so hard at the whole thing.
 Me and Seonaid!
We were so proud of ourselves as we managed to plan all the food we needed for two days.  We even brought a grill and made Korean barbecue!
I love that Mitch is always ready to be our photographer.  We got some super great photos of the 4 girls, and one with Mitch.
We stayed in these super cute huts right on the beach.  They were super simple and just included a heated floor, pillows, and blankets.

Our attempt at one person multiple times panorama didn't work quite well, can you find my missing arm?

I also completed my 13th escape room in Korea.  If you haven't done an escape room yet you definitely should! This one included finding a key to turn off a waterfall and then a door sliding open behind it!

Now on to the future! Next week Thursday my mom comes to Korea! She will be here for 10 days.  The next weekend, Lindsey and I are heading to Hong Kong! Then one weekend off and our group of 5 is heading to the island of Jeju, a big island off the Southern coast of Korea.  Then we have a bunch of weekend plans before Lindsey leaves in the middle of July.  Then at the end of July I am off to the Philippines to get my Scuba certification! So many plans for the future.  Let the countdown begin!
